Hey guys, I ordered new 20inch rims for my gs350 fsport AWD. As I'm patiently waiting for them to arrive, I'm looking for tires and noticed that most people here are running 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rears.
Will that cause a problem with the AWD system over time? According to the calculator 235/35/20 fronts and 275/30/20 rears have closer revs/mile.

 

285/30/20 is actually the better match

 

Everyone says the 285 will run though, too wide for 4th gen without fender work.

 

From what I've read you can't run staggered sized wheels and tires on AWD models. Am I wrong?

 

I have been 235/35/20 and 275/30/20 on my wife's GS350 AWD car for almost a year now. The key is making sure the outer diameter of the front and rear tires are exactly the same. You will also need to monitor tire depth more closely making sure it never falls outside a safe margin of 2% (between front and rear).

 

Depends on the offset of the wheel. 285 and 245 are exactly the same. Those are your best bet for the AWD.
