a 275/25/20 sounds pricey!

it depends on what you are looking for...common combos:

245/30 and 285/25
245/35 and 275/30

I run (AWD) 225/35 and 265/30 just to have diameters as close as possible and no fender mods.....yet.

Newbie here. Sorry to stray off the topic a bit.

I am having a IS250 AWD 2006 and currently run 245 R17 45 on the stock rims and since its time to change it, I was thinking of putting the slightly wider 255 R17 45. Would this fit? Without rubbing the inner arches.

Cheers.

^ I would look at the 2IS Wheel Threads for some examples and ideas. You have plenty of choices there

I'm running 245/30/20 front, and 285/25/20 rear. Minor rubbing on big dips in the rear. Getting new tires and going to run a 295/25/20 in the rear now.

The 285/25/20 doesn't have many options. I found the 295 there are a few more tires available. Also, didn't want to go with Falken this time around, they were too noisy for me.
