Default Protection for Interior

I was wondering if anyone knows of a clear film that is safe for the interior of the car? I seem to hit the door with my boots when I get in and out of my GS and was thinking that it would be nice if there were some sort of clear film, similar to the clear bra utilized for the front of the car, that would be safe to put on my door? I know this sounds stupid but no matter what I do there always seems to be marks on the inside of my door near the hinge.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

You can get some black vinyl (with leather texture) found in Amazon or eBay. They tend to have a sticky backing, so cut a piece and stick it on. It won't be very noticeable either. This thread below discusses how someone with an RC that did a similar project:

Yea, this sounds like a much better option. Clear plastic won't adhere correctly I'm guessing.
