I got a slow leak fixed. They didn't want to fix it and said I really needed a new tire. I told them with an AWD, I definitely wouldn't want to put just one new tire on an axle. I also don't want to put a 235/45-18 on it because I want to put four 245/45-18s on it later this fall. My Conti DWS06 are just down worn down where the "S" in DWS is gone.

Yep, minus the snap part. It's 2 sided tape that holds it to the mirror. Same as the spoiler and the door handle covers. Took a couple times to get it on just right as well.

I had a nail in the sidewall and they replaced the tire under warranty. I asked them are they not going to replace all four since this is AWD. Surprisingly, they didn't fall for it.

Not under any kind of warranty. These are the tires that were on the car when I bought it in January of this year.

I have 245/45-18 tires on my GS 350 RWD. I highly recommend that you consider Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus tires. Excellent ride dry or wet and very quiet, and comes with a 70,000 mile no time limit warranty.

I looked at those but they are more expensive and I'll never put 70,000 miles on this car the entire time I'm going to own it. In the decade I owned my Tundra, I put 40,000 on it. In the 11 years I owned my BMW motorcycle I only put 10,000 miles on it. My wife's Honda SUVs get all the miles.

I have no issues with the Conti DWS06. They were run improperly and/or on a poor alignment prior to my ownership. They aren't very noisy to me, stick well and since I come from a Tundra - Honda - muscle car mindset, they work. If there was a lower mileage version at the same price point as the DWS, I'd look at them.

I already got a quote for the DWS in the 245/45 for $911 mounted and balanced.

Discount Tire has the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus tires for $158.00 each or 4 for $632.00. You can even receive $50 back on VISA too.

Adding for Road Force Balancing, Lifetime rotation and balancing, tire disposal, TPMS O-Ring Grommet Seal Kits, Lifetime Road Hazard Replacement and sales tax still puts you under $900

I won't put 70,000 miles on my tires either, but all tires tend to wear out before their warranty here in the Dallas area. So, the lengthy warranty is beneficial if you don't get the mileage you are expecting based on the warranty.

ONR'ed yesterday and tried out Bead Maker in combination with ICE Spray Wax. I'm liking the slickness to paint bead maker leaves, and the shine that ICE gives off.

On another note, I really need to change out the original brake pads and rotors. I can't handle all this brake dust anymore.

Coat your wheels! Makes cleaning them 100x easier even with the dust.

I've also done that and it works, at least for a short time.. But once you hit the wheels with a wheel cleaner, doesn't it just strip whatever wax/coating you applied? Is there a wheel treatment that really lasts?

Ceramic coat, not just wax or silica-based spray coatings. Look into something like Gyeon Q2 Rim (6 months durability) or Gtechnique C5 wheel armor (1 year durability) or even Gtechnique Crystal Serum. Or you could coat them in Cquartz (2 years) or Opti-Gloss (2 years) or Adam's wheel coating. I have Opti-Coat Pro+ on mine - 5 year durability.

Yeah, just got CQuartz 3.0 last week. Waiting for fall to roll around before I do the car, but I purchased the cheap ceramic coating (~$9) specifically for the wheels. It hasn't come in yet, unfortunately.

You should post your question in the Automotive Care & Detailing forum.

Installed LED bulbs in the vanity mirrors. So much brighter & keeps the Mrs. happy when she's using the passenger mirror.

also purchased the LED light strip for the trunk:
2013 - 2016 LEXUS GS Trunk/Cargo 20" Lighting 5630 SMD Ultra Bright White LED on ebay.

I think the vanity mirror & trunk are the only Non-LED lights in the 2016 ?
