Hey everyone,
Which part number did you use?

Dealer gave me these numbers:84811-30050
(12/2011 - 08/2014)
$17.20
84811-30060
(09/2014 - 07/2015)
$18.59
84811-30061
(09/2015 - 09/2015)
$18.59

84811-30070 (2016)

He is telling me that he cant order me 84811-30061 without the proper VIN number. He can order me 84811-30070 no problem. Am i OK using the 2016 + ****?

Thanks.

Hey all. I am going to revive this thread with a fun twist.

So I ordered the 2017 GS **** 84811-30070 and it will be here before my 2013 GS will be here (lol) so I can tell you all how it fits. I got it for $14 shipped to me...no money at all.

I, however, am in the unique (kinda) position that I have access to a 3D printer and a pair of dial calipers. That means, I can probably make all kinds of different remote touch *****...I will have to see for sure though. I want to make one that is a straight up and down joystick style. I also want to make one the looks like one of those skate park ramps that has a quarter pipe on either side and comes up to a point in the center...like to put one finger on either side of it.

I want to experiment with different designs (if I can) to see what is the most comfortable. Then I'll cover it in leather I think. This should be fun if I can get it to work with the mounting and all.

I just got mine (84811-30070) and installed. Fits perfect. It's a bit smaller than the old ****. It feels good to use.

Awesome, great to know. I found myself gripping the sides of the touch **** as putting my fingers on top of a hump just didn't feel right to me.

On a side note, does anyone know how to remove the wrist rest? Does it just pull up and off? Kinda wanna wrap that in leather or suede lol

If you want to order 84811-30061 (they also have the other years too), I ordered mine below as it was the only site I could find that charged around 3 bucks for shipping instead of the usual ~$10.

https://www.ssl-parts.com/oem-parts/...***-8481130061

For the differences, see pictures below. 84811-30050 for the 2013/2014 is on the left, 84811-30060/84811-30061 for the 2015 is in the middle and 84811-30070 is on the right.

Have anyone replaced the plastic palm rest of the remote touch with the leather palm rest of the remote touch in 2016+ models?

I am getting crazy trying to find a P/N to this exact same **** update for my 2014 Lexus IS. The ***** (like 84811-30070) seems pretty much the same visually, but when I check the fitment in sites like megazip it says it only fits the Lexus GS, does the IS have different part numbers? If so, can some please point me in the right direction (a P/N will be great), will 84811-30070 fit in my IS?

Thanks in advance!
EDIT:
Jesuschrist, got it! In case someone lands here with my same level of desperation, go check this thread for the IS:

I have XPel on all the piano black in mine. Why they put that finish on everything you touch is beyond me?! That would bother my OCD too.
