Default Where do you guys mount your front license plate?

I got pulled over earlier today after many years of not having a front license plate mounted. I guess they've been really cracking down on that in LA.. lots of bike cops around pulling people over for that.. I have until November something to do something about it. I wanted to know if there is any other option that looks reasonable besides just sticking it in the front where it normally is.

Thanks!

I also live in LA and haven't had one for almost 20 years. If it's not a fine and just a "fix-it" then I'd just tape one on and get the ticket signed off. Remove the plate and see how long you can go again. The GS along with most sport and luxury cars look like crap with it on the front.

I was with a friend when he got pulled over for missing front license plate in a 1969 Camaro. It had one of those "USA 1" plates on it. This happened in the Bay Area back in 1995.

On my previous car, I never mounted the front license plate. I also left the temp sticker in the window. After 5 years, that sticker looked tacky and beat up. But never pulled over. I think it just boils down to luck. Some cities look for it harder than others. It's like the loud exhaust thing.

Won't you get fined the next time they pull you over though? Yeah it's just a "fix-it" The cops are literally around every damn corner. I see them every day on my way to work now..

I was thinking about that, but was wondering if anyone has attempted to do that. Feels like it'd be a hazard if it isn't secured there though.

That's where I had kept mine for this car and the one before it and the one before that lol.

What did you fill the holes up with?

Mine is located near the passenger seat, I choose to not have one on the front.
