No, it does not. But it does have a USB slot.

The hard drive is old tech now. Use your phone to stream music via bluetooth.

Even better, plug in a little iPod nano or whatever and leave it in the console. It'll charge and have all your stuff available, and the car's stereo can handle it just fine with steering wheel controls etc.

I found the in-car HDD useless in our past car. Too much effort needed to download music into the car.

The GS has 2 USB slots, so you can buy one of these and play your music on it. I've been using my iPod, but the heat from leaving it in the car has ruined the battery. Will probably switch to this when the iPod finally decides to die:

Why bother with an internal HDD when you can buy a 128 GB flash drive for $40?

There was an HDD in my previous car. You could only load music from CDs, not from your iPod or other flash drive. Plus the audio quality of the imports sounded like bad MP3s when imported at the "normal" rate. There was a "higher" rate, but that used up a lot more disk space. And it was a right pain when you put a CD in that wasn't in the car's current version of gracenote.

My car iPod was (and still is) a 16GB Nano and contains mostly mix playlists. The HDD was useful when I wanted to listen to a whole album. But other than that I didn't use it much.

My iPod classic does sometimes. I was going to try a Nano and see if that helps

2007 - 2009 LS460 had the HDD drive. GS never did. My understanding is
that ASCAP got involved because you would buy music and load it into a
hard drive then sell the car without deleting it. Whoa, somebody got to use
unlicensed free pirate media for nutthin' ! Gotta put a stop to that pronto.

Previous posters are all correct, get an iPod and fill it up. Take it with when
renting cars and then on to the next car you buy. Easier to configure in your
living room than sitting in the garage too.

I just fill up an USB 128 GB flash drive, and stick it into the USB slot inside the front center armrest.

Same here, I have 281 albums ripped to mp3 on a 32GB USB drive.

I did until I paid the dealer to update the maps and radio/navigation software. Prior to that it would disconnect every other day and since I haven't had it disconnect once.
