Default Bumper guard?

Is there anything you guys know off or use that protects your rear bumper while driving in traffic etc? I know there is Bumper Bully, but they say you cant drive with it.

Not sure what kind of protection you're looking for...
rear ending? nothing you can do that will ever save your bumper.
scratches? I'd go with an Xpel wrap (or any other clear bra)

If you want to look like a fool, you can get those rubber bumpers that come out of your trunk. You can't protect your bumper against bumps, scratches yes, but bumps where it leaves indentation is impossible.

Thanks for the encouragement and those "foolish" looking rubber mats do protect against imprints on the bumper. Thats the whole purpose of them. At 50 MPH, no, under 5, yes.

I think your options are pretty limited for what you are looking for. I know there are trailer hitch bumper guards for trucks and suvs, but for cars, not many options. Everything I've seen for cars are mainly for parking on the street. I feel your pain, as I just had my rear bumper replaced because I got rear ended at a very low speed - just enough to imprint a Mercedes emblem in my bumper.
