Then you used the wrong ones....cmax gold, not the premium

Brake dust is not a Lexus only issue haha. All cars have brake dust, it's usually worse on higher end cars that use brakes that dust more because they stop faster.

My front wheels get black/brown from dust very fast. As soon as those pads are worn out I'm switching to Akebono ceramics. Had them on an old car and they were great. I would recommend switching to low dust ceramic pads if you can't deal with the dust. People on here also seem to like the Autozone CMAX pads.

I'm surprised there has been no mention of 'why' there is more brake dust from OEM pads.

Does anyone know the part number for the cmax gold from autozone? I am getting different numbers from the website and when I call in.

I have a 2016 GS 350 F-sport RWD

Because nobody cares....the pads I am using are working just as good as my oem pads....

It's not a track car, it's a big heavy sedan.

Thanks Vin! I went to the Lexus dealership and spoke to the parts and service department and they couldn't confirm that the duralast cmax would be the same from 2013 to 2016 but did say that there is a very very high percentage that it will fit because there wasn't any changes other than a face lift. Autozone confirmed the the same part number you gave me!

Thank you!

I couldn't be happier....no dust, car stops really good....to be honest I didn't notice any difference in braking performance....

This is the second car I have used the cmax gold pad on, the other was my 07 TL type s with brembos....same results, no dust, great performance

Any negative about Lexus, is always worse on a BMW.
Rationalizing your car purchase seems to preoccupy many on this forum.

At least on the German cars you do get brake dust, as the Lexus does, but you also get something the Lexus doesn't, performance!
Got to be tough though with all that brake dust it sure can make a mess of those white shoes and belts 'eh?

Don’t let this bother you. I don’t think anyone has experienced real brake dust until they’ve owned a BMW. LOL

Good luck with new pads. I have standardized on Akebono pads but have not done brakes on our GS.
Again, good luck.
