does this car have adaptive throttle/transmission?
I am not sure what it is called exactly, but other cars have it.
The car adapts to regular/typical driving style of the owner.
I have to throttle this car a bit more than I am used to other cars, just wondering if it'll stay the same forever or improve?
I think the throttle input map of "sport mode" is good. Just don't like the heavy steering feedback.

Yes, it learns, and it learns for each mode separately. The heavy throttle and steering is preferable to me. I don't like cars with granny steering that you can flip onto the lid by twitching your pinky at 65mph.
I'm in a 2015 RX loaner right now and the throttle is so sensitive just resting my foot on it makes it spin the tires from a stop. Night and day compared to my GS, which requires pressure to get it moving. I like heavy stuff I guess.

The previous RX and current ES gas pedal are top mounted and pivot from below the dash or firewall. While the GS and LS have floor mounted gas pedals that hinge from the floor boards. The ones on the previous gen RX and current ES are more sensitive to foot inputs so it feels not as smooth but at same time very responsive and give an illusion that it accellerate faster. The GS and LS floor hinge gas pedal is more smooth in operation but as a side affect not as reponsive. But can be as fast as the top hinge pedal if you give it more pressure.
Personally i prefer the GSs and LSs floor mount pedals. A luxury car brand needs to be smooth and quite. I dont want to burn rubber everytime I gentle press on the gas pedal. I have raced my coworkers 15 ES with my 14 GS before from a stop light. Even though the ES throttle is more sensitive and pedals much easier to depress i still manage to beat her to 60 mph. The GS is Smooth and fast! In sport+ mode of course.

and yea I feel that too, this car needs more throttle to move than my old cars but it has a lot of power.
