Also, do not expect a TSB on the satellite radio temporarily losing the signal from time-to-time.
Speaking of satellite radio, the 2016 ES loaner I got was horrible! It loses signal everywhere, worse than my GS. And the next morning the damn thing couldn't get a signal at all until I tried again in the afternoon.

Had the very same issue. Reply posts suggested radio frequency interference. That is exactly what my problem was. Turns out that our range was reduced from 100 plus feet to just 10' whenever the garage ceiling lights were turned on. We had recently renovated our garage and the process included new fluorescent lighting. These are new fixtures with LED T8 Bulbs. Problem solved. Thanks to those who posted about RF interference.

I've been fighting this for almost 2 years now and checked various sources for interference. Nothing I can define. It almost seems random when I can expect my Homelink to work. Basically, I gave up. Not long ago I was parking, backed in, in my driveway and then put my highly reflective sunshade in the windshield. I was thinking about my Homelink and tried the button just for the heck of it. It worked immediately and consistently now that I have tried this. I know the sunshade would bounce the signal but this is actually much better than when I try it face in. Go firgure! Something for those of you who have been unable to find a fix for this issue. [I have several cars and none of the others has this issue.]

Turns out that in my case, I found the problem to be my newly installed LED landscape lights. It took me a while to figure this out because the problem occurred only when the lights were 'on' but I mistakenly thought that the problem was random. I was able to replicate this by stopping at a point about 100' from the garage and testing with the landscape lights on, then off. I could reliably operate the garage door from this position when the lights were 'off' but once they were turned on, I had to be very close to the door. Not sure if there is any method to reduce the interference from the lights or the power supply to reduce the impact.
