Hey all, just picked up a 2013 F-Sport and I'm trying to crack the nut on the the mirroring my LG G4 to my navigation screen. I followed the other walkthrough on here with limited results. I get sound but no audio. I have the SlimPort to HDMI converter going to the Porta HDMI converter to an RCA to a 4 pole.

I have confirmed that the Slimport to HDMI is functioning properly.

I have confirmed that the HDMI to VGA is working properly.

I have not been able to confirm the RCA to 4 pole works correctly, and might not be.

Can anyone link the RCA to 4 pole they used so I can rule it out?

Who knows how to switch to the A/V setting or should it switch automatically?

You can get audio into the car through Bluetooth, Aux input & USB. As far as I know you cant get video into the display. I did this on the wife's Durango with on of these: https://www.coastaletech.com/

 

Thanks for the reply, I know it can be done in the 2013+ cars for sure using the 3.5mm jack. I just can't get it to work for me.

 

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that A/V input was not available until 2015 model.
