OK Maybe not 1 foot but have to get way too close to make it a useful feature. Hitting key FOB from an acceptable distance is much better option

I agree, I find myself hitting the key fob way to often then just walking up to the door and gabbing the handle.

You can change out the bulbs too correct? The filament bulbs are so dim :/..

Any idea on how to change them out? I just bought new bulbs and wondering how to change them. I saw a video of someone popping out the mirror, is that how you change them? Or take off the bottom plastic cover? Thanks for the help.
