Default Am I far off?

This is my first foreign car that I have owned and am now thinking of selling to move on to my next toy.
I buy and sell (Domestic) cars about every 6 months. I'm not a Dealer it's just a hobby.
I've had the car listed on other sites for over a week and no bites is why I ask?

Thanks for your response.

It could be because those who are planning to buy are waiting for the refreshed 2016 GS350 coming out later this year. Also it could be price?

Higher or the same asking price as a Lexus dealer.

Thank you for the reply. Also, It could work the other way and someone would want this like new car because they don't care for the refresh. I would be one of those buyers if I were in the market for a GS right now.

Thank you also for the reply. I realize I am close to Dealer Pricing as I checked for comparison beforehand. BUT this car is in better condition than when I bought it new with 7 miles on it. I've also added the equivalent of thousands of dollars in clear bra, window tint, paint coating and illuminated door sills.

Is it possible that the GS is just not that popular for the price? There are a lot of nice cars for $50,000.

Once you drive the car off the lot, it's used. Pure and simple. No matter what condition it's in.

Expect the value to drop. Don't expect to get your money back.

What would be a reasonable asking price that is fair to me and the buyer?

Also keep in mind, this is not a "need to sell" situation. In fact the car is paid for. I'm just looking to move on....

Obviously, but I've always sold my previous cars for close to purchase price, I've even made money on a few.

But this is my first foreign car and the reason I posted this thread.

What is a fair asking price?

Go to the Blue Book Value page - http://www.kbb.com/

If you're serious about selling it, drop the price a little more. If you're not, then keep the price firm but don't expect much activity. Like the others have said, the 2016's are coming soon and folks are getting ready for them. Once they appear, the price/value of your car will drop further.

Thanks guys. I adjusted the price in my FS thread.

If I can't get somewhere close to that price I might keep it through the Winter.

Still no interest in my car. Shoot, the scammers are not even trying! Lol.

I've bought and sold numerous cars over the years, never one that has went this long with no inquiries...

Fwiw I got mine for about 47k. And this was two months ago. People are probably holding off to see the refresh in person. Lease option could also be why. Best of luck to you.
