I purchased a skipper front lip off ebay but never installed it. Wife drives the GS now and she doesn't want the front any lower than it is. Urethane/Black/Unpainted.

I'm giving it away to anyone who is willing to come to me (So.Cal/OC) to pick it up on the condition that IF you decide its not for you after picking it up from me, please pass it to someone else on the forum. Don't sell it. Just pass it on. It's bad juju if you do profit from it. Karma will catch up to you and give you a big door ding.

I have one sitting in my garage too. I took it off a few months ago cause of fitment problem and ended up scraping the paint off my bumper.

 

Ouch, yeah, you have to make sure it fits well before mounting. Wife used to drive a x5 so she probably would tear the whole front end off if I install it.

 

Yea those little side wings on the lip was so tight and when I pressed it against the side of the bumper it took the paint right off. Good thing it's in the wheel well area so u can't really see it.

 

Do you mind sharing which of the ebay lips you had this experience with? I'm thinking about picking up a Skipper or Skipper rep, and hoping to find one with oem fitment.


I'm torn between CF or painted. If anyone has a CF lip on Nebula Gray, I would greatly appreciate it if you can share a photo. Thx!
