Default Door panels

Does anybody else front door panels (possibly the rear too) rattles when the audio system volume is quite high?

Yes, same issue here especially when listening to bass heavy music. I usually press the side of my left knee on the door panel to minimize the rattling. I think it is the window/control buttons on that panel causing the problem.

There's a thread somewhere that shows some people removing the window switches and adding additional padding to stop the rattling. Check the rattles/squeaks thread I think...

Yeah, just take the units out, remove the hardware, use some isolation tape and make sure it all sits nice and tight. It will be a lot less. Just be carefull and have patience.

Mentioned this a few times, dealership will fix it with some felt tape around the switch controls.

Run it over to Sewell or Park Place and have a tech ride with you, or demonstrate for your service manager. Alot of the little fit and finish things are just factory mistakes or OEM fitment issues that a little felt tape will fix. They have TSB's for the majority of rattles.

My Gs350 is the same way. It's starting to drive me nuts! I don't even have to have music on and the panel rattles over uneven roads. It seems to be coming from driverside door panel and possibly B pillar. I'll take it in to the dealer when I go in for my oil change.
