Are you buying it for some unknown person, or for yourself?

Black with Flaxen interior seems like will be a lot of work to keep clean in/out. Black exterior shows swirl marks and dirt easily. Flaxen interior will show scuff marks / stain easily as well. Not a fan of that combo. I'm sure it looks nice in person but will require too much effort to keep clean.

If the two are the only option, Obsidian/Cabernet.

Not offered on the F-sport.

I had Nebula/Flaxen on my 2013 and got many compliments. For my 2015, I decided to go with Nebula/Cabernet and got even more compliments. I have to say though, I like the cabernet interior more than the flaxen. Cabernet is more than just red leather, it's a nice, dark, rich look. Getting two Nebula cars shows how much I like the color. Obsidian looks awesome if you're willing to put in the time and effort to make it look good.

I think you might have misunderstood me. I was saying I wouldn't pick the black/cab because I wouldn't have a black car. And I wouldn't pick the nebula/flaxen because I don't like flaxen. So NEXT.

But yeah, black/flaxen would be very difficult to keep clean.

What you guys do in your GS that would be worried about keeping it clean? Flaxen is a nice color but it needs the wood trim from Luxury package. Cabernet is the best color for F Sport aluminum trim IMO.
OP: buy the one YOU like. Black is pain in the behind to keep clean and shine but it's not impossible to have a nice shiny black car. Just need to do some more research on how to take care of it. A nice coating and some washing techniques may be all you need.
