Thats interesting, I didn't know you could get the leather dash or the multi contour seats with the dakota leather...
Yeah I know two people with nearly identical X5s one with the dakota leather and no leather dash, basic seats, and one with the nappa and the leather dash and doors, multi contour seats, makes a huge difference. The nappa leather is nice, but as long as you have the multi contour seats and the leather dash I say its a win.
I couldn't find one with Napa and everything I wanted like leather dash and adaptive M suspension. But MC seats are a must! I don't find them all that comfortable but I prefer the way they look lol
@phins2rt Lol not that I know of. What is it that you're seeing? I was trying to get a good pic to where you guys wouldn't see my muddy floor mats hahaha
Bahahaha I'm not sure what that is! Must be why I have a weird clunk? Jk no clunk or anything. With the GS I had already had a few batteries replaced, a leaking sunroof and a blown shock. Only issue I had with the X5 is an alignment but it's all taken care of now.
Sick21, were you ever able to test drive the RX F-Sport? My parents have one that I drive around from time to time and the suspension in that felt pretty stiff and handles pretty well. Haven't test driven an X5 before but congrats, and sweet car! The next thing to do is throw some 20 inch plus wheels on it!
Thank you! It has the optional 20" wheels on it. I've tossed around the idea of some 22" HREs but I'm not sure yet. I never did test drive an RX but I bet the F Sport with the adaptive suspension is pretty nice. Overall, I ended up wanting something a little more aggressive and a little more power than what the RX is/has. It's super nice still but probably not for me. I would've saved a ton of money had I gone that route, though.
