Default Scratch after service visit

Got my car back today and just a few hours of getting back possession, I notice this. I'm 99% sure it was not like this before since I've been washing it myself lately and I dust it off daily. My finger nail sinks into it so I'm pretty sure it's down to the metal.

Do you guys think it's too minor to make a complaint? How should I handle it?

Dosent matter how minor it is. I would be really upset if that were to happen to me, I take care of my cars really good and If I saw that I would talk to my service advisor about it.

For literally a couple of decades, my dealers that I go to for service do a cosmetic inspection and have me sign the "damage assessment" when dropping off the vehicle.

Even includes the Toyota dealership.

Procedures like this protect the dealer and the customer.

I have gotten those before but not on this particular visit.

What would make you happy in this situation....

Anything short of reprinting the fender is not going to make it right in my mind

Whatever they can do to make it un-noticeable.

I just go back from the dealer and the service advisor said they would fix it next week.

thats good atleast they're willing to fix it.

back when in 2013 when i first got my car, i noticed that the front passenger side bumper had a clip broken basically the bumper was off the clip, so i told my advisor they made a note of it. they said they will take a look and they magically popped it back in.

2days later it came off again, i went back for my 5k and last month went for my 10k serivce they did the same thing. but this time i spoke to the manager about this issue and she told me she would make a claim to the headquaters to have them replace my bumper free of charge. been like 3 weeks so we still waiting patientlyyyyyyyyyyy lolll

Had a small scratch like that and it was "airbrushed" and the repair was unnoticeable. If you paint the whole fender, you will have to deal with this dealer tool and be prepared to answer a whole lot of questions from the dealer and diminished value when the car is traded in.
