Default 4th Gen Reliability!

I found this in the 3rd Gen was nice to see that the 4th Gen is doing a lot better than the 3rd gen was.

4GS is the best! hehehehe

If I'm forced to keep a car after the lease, this would be it. It's cheap to maintain and it's reliable.

Good thing. I'm getting ready to jump ship from BMW e90 to Lexus GS in about a month or so.

Consumer Reports comes out with their annual auto reliabilty issue every spring. I've been a subscriber for more than 20 years. Toyota has had consistently good ratings across the boards. BMW has here recently has come way up in reliability, not Toyota or Honda levels, but up from the GOD awful ratings they had for decades.

Agreed, I'm keeping mine, it has everything I need and more. I only got into a GS because getting in and out my IS was beyond getting old. I hoping to do some long road trips this

Almost 42k miles. The only problem I've had are brake squeaks. Dealers replaced the entire front brake pad/ rotor but squeaking came back after 5k miles. Ceramic pads were good for 8k miles and started squeaking even more. I put back the original pads and has been squeaking free for the last 5k miles. Overall very pleased with this car.

Glad to hear CL feedback and make me feel even better with my choice switching to Lexus from Acura family. Well... I've never had any major issues with Acura's in last 8 years but latest design forced me to get get away...

Every morning my driver seat makes a squeaking noise when moving to the preset position after starting the car. At first I thought it was my tummy growling in hunger even though I already ate breakfast but after a few days I realized it wasn't me.

I played with the seat adjustment buttons and I can't replicate the noise, it only happens the first time in the morning. Weird.. anyone has that too?

My 14 Accord gave me Xmas light show across the dash one morning and pulled out a Cyl misfire code after just 1 year and 11K miles. I reset the code and got rid of that sucker and got a 15 CT. If that thing misfire once, it can happen again and I don't want it to happen while I'm in the middle of nowhere with no cell reception.

2013. I've had the car since August 2012. Weird thing is it no longer squeaks and these are the same pads that squeaked 6 months ago. Intermittently I see a post about someone who has this problem. But usually from F Sport owners.

My neighbor has a new Audi A8 and his squeak pretty bad too. So I think the problem is the pad manufactures.
