Nothing happened? Not that I think of. I mean I checked the rear bumper for any damage and there was nothing. I noticed the two in the rear that are to the left are out of place and one of them fell almost all the way in. I'm going to take it to the dealer this weekend because this should be covered by warranty since it wasn't anything I did.
Is your GS a 2014+ model? Well these newer model have the flush mount sensors which I believe are easier to pop loose with a little pressure. One of my front sensor pop loose while i was hand washing my own car. I didnt even apply any pressure to it when I was washing and it still pop'd loose. I owned a 2006 LS 430 for 7 years and those sensors will never pop loose like this.

Mine is 2013... First time it happens. I'm OCD too so it bothers the hell out of me and I probably can't get it fixed till the weekend.

Parts keep getting cheaper and cheaper these days, especially the ones you don't see!
I had the same thing happen and the dealer wouldn't cover it. You need a new retainer clip, on ebay for $5
I called the rep that helps me all the time and he told me to bring it in "to see if we could pop it back into place." If they don't cover anything I'm going to flip.
I've honestly noticed a lot of things on this car that feel cheap. For a $50,000 car, I think they could've used much better/durable parts.
If you want to make it perfect, best would be to remove a bumper Unless you find enough room to pull your hand from the bottom side but there is might be rear reinforcement on your way.
