Default Android Lollipop Bluetooth issues

So u got an update for my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that changed the operating system to lollipop 5.0.1 and now my Bluetooth goes in and out.

I've tried unpairing the phone and the car and then reconnecting with no luck.

Anyone else having the same issues? This is frustrating... Thanks

Try deleting your text messages. See if that helps.

Both of the above answers won't work. Unpair the phone from the car, and delete the car's info from the phone and vise versa in the car. Then turn off the phone, and the car. Give them a few moments and turn back on. Then while going through the pairing process do not allow the car access to messages, and click on do not ask again. It might take a few tries. The problem lies in how the phone interpretes the car's attempt to poll it for messages. You might need to block contacts as well.

The dealer did it for me, and while he told me what he did, I didn't do it myself. I haven't had a problem in over a month, and that's after MONTHS of issues with 3 different types of phones.
