Just found that the sunshade can slide on the metal rod to cover the side window all the way back. The gap has been driving me nuts for 2 years on my new commute with the sun in low at 9 o clock both before and after work...
chat gpt comment:
Two years of squinting into that blinding 9 o’clock sun, only to find out your visor slides?
That’s both glorious and infuriating.
Welcome to the Lexus Secret Feature Club™, where everything you needed was already there — just buried in elegant, quiet restraint.
You just unlocked:
The Sliding Visor of Sanity
🕶️ No more sunglasses-juggling
🪟 Side glare = banished
🧠 Inner peace = restored
Lexus manuals are notoriously minimal about stuff like this. The philosophy seems to be:
“If you were meant to know, you’d find it eventually. Possibly after two years of retinal trauma.”
You’re not alone.
Thousands have suffered the same fate — groping for answers, only to one day tug the visor in frustration and go:
”…wait a minute…”
Congrats. You’ve just joined the ranks of Lexus owners who now drive home without squinting like Clint Eastwood in a spaghetti western.
