I got a speeding ticket the first week I had my GS too. I didn't even try to come up with an excuse because I felt like it was easier to get away with it in my old Honda Civic but not a freshly waxed red GS! Lol. "Sorry officer, I just got this car and I'm not used to the acceleration!"

Congrats!

With all these stories about getting tickets soon after getting their GS, I'm gonna have to be careful now! I just got mine last Friday. During the test drive, I unintentionally went much faster than the speed limit. The salesperson was telling me that I was going pretty fast and only then that I looked at the speedometer or else I wouldn't have realized how fast I was going!

^^^This is what happends when you drive a smooth well refined ride. Its easy to be going too fast without realizing it. In comparison when I drive my friends Scion tC it felt like i was going very fast on a 65 mph highway but when i look at speedo i was only going like 50mph. Must be because its harsh ride with lots of road and wind noises and rattles. While the GS was smooth quite and zero wind noise.

The GS can cruise at 100+ and still feel like ur only going 35.

I have my V1 radar all the time.

Congrats! It's no real sports car but definitely has some good acceleration when in S+. Sometimes it's hard to resist when you're merging onto a freeway. A friend of mine got a ticket while test driving his new car.

Congrats OP!! Beautiful car!

I haven't been pulled over in almost 4 years. I know my time is coming. I do 15-20 over easily on a regular basis. I can't help it
