Default Steering wheel button - scan presets only?

Does anyone know if you can change the functionality of the preset button on the steering wheel? I'd like to be able to scan XM from the steering wheel instead of turning the **** on the headset. For instance if I'm on XM channel whatever and listening to a NFL game and want to manually scan through the other games I have to turn the **** to do it.

Mine only does presets. There are maybe 6 levels of presets though...

I don't know about XM but for scanning radio, press and hold until a beep will scan to the next channel. Instead of press and release.

It will work for XM. Up or down 1 channel at a time.
