Anyways to the forum member that thinks that nobody buys an fsport, YOU are wrong. Plenty of people drive a Luxury GS so stop being a baby and bashing other peoples cars just because you bought cheapest version of the GS.
I don't think anyone said nobody buys an F Sport. There are quite few of them on here, so if you are going to pontificate it is best that you get the facts straight. As for the Luxury Model, different strokes for different folks. We all have our different needs/wants and thank god Lexus tries to give us different models that satisfy them all. (BTW, I guess I'm the only one that doesn't have an issue with the Luxury model wheels. Nobody sees them when you are driving anyway.)
And with respect to all you Luxury owners, I love my Aluminum trim but would kill to have the Linear Espresso wood... just not on the steering wheel, thanks!
I am too a GS Luxury owner and would never consider an fsport because i think it was a neutered version with less features that make everyday driving a blissful experience in the luxury version. Its true that the luxury rims alone will steer most people away from luxury package but i bought it anyways because the benefits out weighs the negatives. Most Luxury owners like myself will eventually upgrade to vossen or hre or stance rims anyways and thats reguardless of owning a fsport or not. Even if i owned an fsport i would still replace the fsport rims for aftermarket ones. If anything i think the fsport package is overpriced for the features you get. There are some things i think the fsport should have included is fog lights and adaptive swivel lighting system. Fsports have a sporting intention but luxus did not include those two features that i find is a must have. So i guess lexus did not feel that you need visibility to drive fast on the road at night. Keep in mind this is same guy that leather stitched his own steering wheel lol from his luxury GS to hide the wood to make it more like an F sport!! That's hysterical loved your tube video. Maybe you can make video on how to turn your grill into an F sport with a sharpie!

The 2014 has a darker finish, but its the same wheel design. I think the darker finish actually makes them uglier LOL. I tried to find a picture but can't find one. I think somebody here posted them, I'll look.
The 2015s if this is to believe come with a lighter color painted set of the 19" F Sport wheels, I wouldn't want to go to a 19" wheel. I would want to stay OEM, for a while I thought about the 3GS Tourmaline wheels:
.
Not bad. I'd want to stay with 18's too.
$328 ea +shipping from Sewell with CL discount.
Won't find them on sale on ebay or here, though . I'm still interested.

I don't think those are for the GS. They are the Tourmaline wheels, and I had them installed on my '06 SC430. I don't think they would do any favors for the GS.

I think AL13NV8D3R meant to say "luxury" instead of F Sport since he was addressing Lexus1998's diatribe against the luxury model.
To be clear, Lexus1998 DID say that nobody buys the luxury model, and specifically said to ask ANYONE on this forum. Well...we see how that turned out lol.

It should be an option on the F Sport...with the all leather steering wheel. Its a sporty grain of wood so I don't see the issue. I understand not making the burled walnut available.

The wood/leather wheel is one component of the entire contents of the package. He obviously chose the package over the F Sport to begin with. Thats the point.
Also keep in mind that you traded your car in on an ES...with a wood/leather steering wheel, and the $5,000 UL package...a car that has absolutely zero sportiness to it. Why you have such a strong opinion about the luxury package when you choose to drive that is beyond me

Someone did a photoshop for me back when I was considering it. I will look for it. They looked pretty good. They were available for the 3GS also.
I personally think those Tourmalene wheels look awful on a GS, and I would take the Luxury Wheels before I would install those. They are somewhat curvy, so they fit the SC430 well, but the GS has sharp angles so it needs something more geometric.

The Tourmaline' s were listed under '14 GS 350 but may be available for many models.

That was the exact feedback you gave me 2 years go

Honestly, I think they look dated, small and plain on the GS and I wouldn't even consider them for my current car. I would go at least 19". Maybe the aftermarket F-Sport wheels?
