Has anybody ever seen these 18" Tourmaline wheels on a 4GS?

I'm thinking about maybe buying them. I'm an OEM guy and they look like they'd be a little easier to clean than the wheels I have now, plus I like the machined look.

Thoughts?

Nice, however I think it looks a little plain. I would choose another design. TJM

Thanks Seize!

I actually really like that. Does anybody know if they're exactly the same size and offset thats on there now?

For some reason the luxury wheels look smaller to me than the Premium package wheels even though they're the same size. The luxury wheels have grown on me a lot, but they're a pain to clean...

I had them on my '06 SC430 and they looked great on that car, but that was a smaller car and very round in comparison to the chunky 4GS. I just wanted to replace the ugly wheels that came on the car.

Honestly, I think they look dated, small and plain on the GS and I wouldn't even consider them for my current car. I would go at least 19". Maybe the aftermarket F-Sport wheels?

Here is my pic of my car. They are the same for AWD yes. Like everyone is saying they won't look right on the 4GS they were made for the 3GS and SC.

Steve, what about the 19" F sport forge rims... I'm thinking of getting them for mine. I need to make up my mind by Tuesday at 7PM
Besides cleaning what don't you like about the lux wheels? I have the lux package on mine to...

Too soft looking for the newer GS. Its better suited for the older GS 3rd generation that I had.

Get the 19 inch F-sport forged rims. I have them on my F-sport and they are awesome.

Yeah I had thought about them being more rounded and the 4GS being crisper, but really its only crisper in the front and the rear, the sides of the car are pretty smooth and rounded. I dunno, I'll think about it...any complaint about them looking small doesn't really make sense to me since the wheels they are replacing are the same size and I don't think they look small. I'm not a "big wheel" kind of guy. These wheels are pretty cheap, you can find them online for like $200 a piece.

I wouldn't be interested in anything larger than the OEM 18s, I don't want to affect the ride or buy tires. I'm not unhappy with the wheels that are on it now...so its really a question of these vs the OEM Luxury wheels.

True. You have Michelin Primacy MXM4 in size 18 right? IF so then it will be easier to transfer them to the new rims. I have the Michelin Primacy MXM4 in 19 and the ride is smooth like the 18 inchers but I have F-sport so little more road feel.

Yep, I have the Michelins...

Maybe the difference in our reactions is that you guys are used to seeing these wheels since they've been around since 2006 whereas I'm just seeing them for the first time since I've never been a GS guy before...

You're welcome!

As for the Tourmalines spces, they're 18 x 8 with an offset of 45. Not sure what the 4th gen GS oem wheel specs are, maybe someone else can chime in on that.

My guess is they're the same...I've been looking around and it looks like the 19" F-Sport forged wheels are a 40...but I can't find specs on the 18s...
