Default Back in a Lexus after over 5 years!

Picked up a 2013 GS350 Luxury w/ Heads Up & Mark Lev w/ 24K miles last weekend and I am absolutely in love! I was previously driving a 2012 Touareg TDI Executive (sold Volkswagens for a couple years)... Now I work for Lexus of Dayton and "you gotta drive what you sell!"

Here's a few shots I took the other day...

Congrats, she looks great. Previous owner must have kept her garaged at night. Wonder why it has the f sport trunk spoiler instead of lux package one? Anyway a lot different ride than yourVW I'm guessing.

Thought the 18 inch tires would fill the wheel well more than it appears in pics. My AWD looks similar. I guess the difference between the AWD and RWD regarding filling of wheel well is not all that significant.

I want that Lexus emblem on the lower left corner of the trunk. I bought one but it was curved and didn't fit the 4GS flat trunk.

Congratulations! I was away from Lexus for even longer with a series of Infinitis and Audis. It's good to be back and the GS is an outstanding car. The light gray interior with the Espresso wood is my favorite combo (along with Cabernet/aluminum)!

A good friend of mine bought a VW Touareg because he felt like he was driving a Porsche Cayenne (and couldn't afford one). Well, the two SUV's are related but at the same time, are both maintenance nightmares.

He eventually got rid of the Touareg for an Audi Q5 (not much of an improvement, if you asked me).

To each their own, I guess.

Congrats! Looks like new. Best looking color BTW, what lens is this? The blur characteristic looks interesting.

Congrats! I also love the grey with the espresso wood. Had I gone for Nebula Grey I would have gotten that

I think my next car might just be a Nebula with grey interior LS460.

While I will undoubtedly agree that Lexus' are by far the most reliable vehicles to be had. I will also say that I had "0" problems with my 2012 Touareg and the 2 high mileage passats that preceded it. The Touareg was also a blast to drive and being a diesel with over 400/lb ft of torque I was still getting 32+mpg!

The reason I like the GS so much is because it really "feels" like a german car.

Spoiler was on there when I picked it up. Looking at the technician notes from Lexus service history it appears it was added at delivery at the customer's request.

I personally prefer the look of the f-sport spoiler, so I'm glad it's on there
