Default Cellphone mount options

I like to use the Waze app on my cell phone for navigation when driving, and to make the best use of it I need to be able to reach the phone easily and have it pretty high up in my line of sight. I just tried a vent mount in the center driver's side vent, which was about the right position but blocked the airflow from the vent too much.

Anybody have other ideas for a cell phone mounting method that have worked better for you than a vent mount?

I have bought two of these, one for my other car and one for my GS. I bought the magnet option one[snap] and have had no problems with it holding my smartphone and I us Waze, also.

They sell them on ebay and other places.

I use this mount. It clips to an air vent. Small, stable, works well.

Thanks guys, those both look like good options (and both are available in Canada which is not always the case with this kind of stuff!)

I've used Proclips on all my cars for years. Solid and, IMHO, looks good too. Proclipusa.com.
