Carista, so you are saying you can close the windows and sun roof by holding the physical door handle button/sensor where you normally lock the door (on the outside of the door)? I know on my LS460 you can close the windows by doing that but the GS4 I was not able to and Lexus told me that was not possible on the GS4. I am not sure who is correct... Please confirm if that is correct. I am so close to buying you app, just need to make sure that is possible.
Unfortunately, I can't say for sure. The setting is indeed for holding the physical key in the lock position, not about touching the button/sensor. But it's possible that for cars that have the button/sensor, it works for that too.
I'll make you a deal: try changing this setting on your car with Carista, and if it doesn't do what you want, I'll give you a refund. Of course, I can't do anything about the hardware because I don't sell those... but I'm guessing if you're not satisfied, you could return the hardware to the seller as well, especially if you buy from Amazon. Or just keep the hardware for diagnostic purposes - it's like 10 bucks and it can be a very useful tool to have.
So, I purchased the receiver and the application works well. Does anyone know which setting will make the seat warmers remember their on/off state? On my car, with the luxury package, if I turn my seat heaters on and then turn the car off, it does not remember I had them on. I had a loaner the other week and it remember the on/off state of the seat heaters.

I have been told by Lexus that is not an option. Depending on when the GS4 assembly, some cars do not have that feature. You might want to ask Lexus for a software update and maybe that might do it. I don't know, just guessing on that software update...
Personally, I have the dealer turn off this feature.
Once, on a 4th of July, I was at a neighborhood party with fireworks. I must have squatted down in just the right position to press the button on the fob (in my front pants pocket) and the windows rolled down and sunroof opened.
During the celebration bottle rockets were flying and sparks falling from the sky. I panicked as I approached my car at the end of the night.
