I suggest getting yourself several little pieces of velcro (2, 3 or 4 points of contact) should do the trick
I thought of the same but I felt the rubber material wouldn't allow for the adhesive of one of the stickies to really stick. That and the diamond pattern on the bottom might be an issue

Get a dash of something like gorilla glue and apply it to the back of the velcro/rubber material and that sucker should stay put.
Otherwise maybe some other members can give their $0.02
Is anyone having an issue with their carpet cargo mat?
I find mine sliding forward towards the cargo net when I have heavier items in the trunk.
Is this normal because it doesn't have the little spikes on the bottom?
Has anyone found anything to solve this besides buying a 3rd party cargo tray?
Thanks in advance!
Yes, I have exactly the same issue. I travel a lot so I carry luggage. The cargo mat is usually at least 1" forward toward the cargo net with gaps near the wheel wells and back of the seat. I've moved it a couple of times, but even then it doesn't seem to fit very well. What annoys me is that the dirt, etc. that is supposed to stay on the mat gets into the exposed areas that aren't covered.... and under the mat. Minor issue but still annoying.
Yep I have the same issue but dont really care about it as much its been pulling to the left and right side, all my speed racer driving. Velcro seems like a good idea but other than that can't think of anything else.
I haven't carried too many things in my trunk lately but had the same issue in my 2IS. For my dinner table, we put a rubber mat between the table and table cloth to keep the table cloth from sliding around. Works pretty well and a roll can be bought at Bed Bath and Beyond. Maybe it'll work for our trunk mats? It's thin, rubbery and grips well. Not sure if it'll grip to the fabric under the mat though.

Hmm I didn't think of that, I'll check the material tomorrow and see if it's feasible
