I get the same MPG in Sport + as Normal by going easy on the throttle. Occasionally get caught out by the higher revs when braking suddenly exiting a highway but most of the time no issues. Reason I prefer Sport + is the steering (especially) and suspension feels much better for me. If there was a way of selecting "Normal" engine with "Sport +" steering etc. I would, but this is not an option.

I have a little over 900 miles on the ODO and averaging about 20mpg.

Normal mode 90%
Sport 7%
Sport+ 3%

Although I love Sport+ with its stiffer steering and damping, I'm not hitting enough twisty roads to utilize it. Sport mode for when I need the engine and tranny more aggressive to get me to my destination faster but don't need the stiff steering and damping. I use the M mode occasionally, should be using it a lot more, its fun.

I used to do that as well, then I realized that brake pads were really cheap compared to what wear and tear on an engine and tranny might be. I only downshift when I am slowing for a corner now.

70% Sport +
0% Sport (useless IMO when you have access to Sport +)
25% Normal
5% Eco (only when the gas light comes on lol)

I'm averaging about 22 - 24 mpg on about 70% highway driving.

Ditto. I use the surface roads in Dallas, which are very beaten up, so the tighter suspension can be rough. Also, I find the car holds gears a bit too long in Sport +. I use that when I'm really wanting to power through a turn.
