Question Pressing Lock/Unclock together on Keyfob

What does it do!? When you press and hold them together for a few seconds the car beeps twice. I thought that this was a way you can silence the beep for when you use the keyfob to lock and unlock the car but i can't seem to find anything that has changed. Any ideas?

Doesn't the car beep twice after is has been unlocked? You may want to check your doors, if you're at work...your car may be open.

I tried it last night. It's a weird faint double beep with no lights flashing or anything.

That would be embarrassing if that was the case though lol.

Although next year Lexus is coming out with a Mr Fusion upgrade that is not backwards compatible. We will forever be stuck in the past.

It changes the unlock behavior when touching the handle (unlock driver's door/unlock all doors). I just tested it on my 2014 GS. Got the clue from here:
