Power trunk

When power trunk opener is in progress, will it hurt the mechanism to manually pull up to have lid open faster? It moves rather slowly.

Question was concerning opening it quicker? You don't have a choice when opening using the button near the license plate. Press it and motor engages to open trunk

If u wanna open it fast, juz press the press once the boot will pop open, press the button again the the door will stop moving & u can juz lift the boot up manually...

Was on the lot. Was prepped for someone else, but they decided against purchasing the GS. Was told they went with the LS.
