Today I was driving and after going over some bumps I started hearing a clank noise every time I went over a bump. It a coming from the rear of the car myself and passenger heard it. My car is lowered on rsr downs. I made a service appointment but just curious if anyone has heard this. It only occurs over certain bumps so I'm not sure what it is. My car has only 4k miles on it so I'm hoping it's nothing huge.

 

I believe there was some issue with the emergency brake making noise on some cars. I don't remember the details. Search around and see. I think emergency brake just needed some readjusting.

I had that noise and it was the rear subframe bolts being loose from factory.

 

Well I def have this sound and I'm lowered as well. I'm curious as well as to what that sound is.

 

I had a similar sound since about Christmas Day, a squawking sound from the rear passenger side. The dealer though it was ice somewhere in or near the shock. The temperature has gone from -22 C to 8 C and the sound has gone. The suspension is stock. We are expecting lower temps later in the week so waiting to see if the sound returns.
