Need some updates. With the new iO7 on Apple, when I connect my iPhone to the USB port and the audio goes off when charging my phone and listening to Pandora, I cannot restore audio like on iO6 software. Lexus advise has not worked out. Anyone out there can help me restore the audio to Pandora and iHeart radio after I plug in my phone to keep charge going? Greatly appreciate this forum.

 

I had that problem with iOS 6 too. Dealer just told me it was an apple problem.

 

I don't think it's IOS 7, it didn't work with IOS 6 either. Lexus told me it was normal. What I did was use the 12v charger port and I haven't had any issues since with Pandora, plus the phone is always charged up after a long trip.

I have Ios 7, and it is easy to charge your phone and simultaneously stream bluetooth or use the Enform apps . You may have to open another audio program, like Pandora, on your phone, click on the Bluetooth icon, a triangle superimposed in a small rectangle, and be sure that it is set for car multimedia and not the dock mount (USB). It worked the same way on Ios 6.

 

To access the ability to connect to bluetooth through Car Multimedia, remember that in ios7, you have to open up the control panel (swipe up from the bottom of the phone, after the phone has already "connected" to the car) The airplay icon is located towards the bottom of the control panel, on the right hand side....you won't see it if not connected to the car!
