I can live without an 8 speed tranny. GSF will be the year to upgrade

Absolutely, if the GSF has the grunt under the hood that's rumored, it will be a beast. M5 competitor or destroyer? We will see.

Does anyone know when the '14's will be at dealers?

I'd prefer not to live with a tranny, especially one with 8 speed...wonder if synthetic oils are used. Anyhow, Nothing special about the '14 that I really want (except for better voice command)...but the GSF...yummmm! waiting to admire it (hopefully it's not just another GS). This will be the first GS-F, they better make a statement.

Really don't know why are they playing this sick game!!
"Flush mounted sensors" YOU HAD THIS FEATURE ON THE LS 460 2007 model !! Plus the 2013 ES why couldn't you fit this from the beginning??
Plus 8 Speed tranny? really ?? I thought Lexus stick with the 6 speed tranny because "Its was the best fit for the GS" .. what changed? or were they lying into our faces just to buy the 2013 model?
I love lexus but I really think they are heading into the wrong direction! Unifying the looks on all their new models is just the beginning..

LOL, its business. Of course they are going to try and sell their 2013 models, and of course they are going to present them in the best light possible.

Cars will always improve over time. Gotta get over that.

On the bright Side our cars have a good resale and trade value so when they make a noteworthy change like a new motor, we have a solid reliable vehicle to turn in. Plus we get the Siri eyes free update shortly. A extra MPG won't make a huge difference and the other items are merely minor. Color HUD and flush sensors. Definitely not a big deal.

Just ran across an Interesting read on the resale value for fully equipped GS models: http://www.edmunds.com/lexus/gs-350/...appraisal.html

The article finishes with the actual sale of the vehicle about three pages later.

If the 2014 has a digital clock, I will buy it.

That's Carmax for you though. They have always been cheap like that. Private sale or dealer trades yield better results as indicated by the private sale. For a vehicle that's been our nearly 2 years that's still pretty good.

Just buy one of the small cheap digital clocks at Walmart and superglue it to the face of the analog clock.........problem solved.

No need to thank me for saving you all that money.

To answer my own question, I stopped by a dealer and asked the sales manager today. He said he expects them in the next three weeks or so. He says there are killer incentives for both buy and lease on the '13's.
