With the big premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show on Tuesday, September 10, I suspect Lexus will want to space out their press releases. We may get some good news next week, after Labor Day. Coincidentally, that's when the "Golden Opportunity" sales event is supposed to end.
the dealer was joking around with me today and said "after this sales event is over (labor day) there will be a press conference, but who cares what the PR says, you should buy the 13' GS now"
FYI, the non F-sport IS350 RWD has the 8 speed transmission as well.
I've seen many people post that only the F-sport IS350 has the 8 speed. They are wrong.
I was talking to my dealer today and one of the supervisors told my wife and I that he recently came back from some Lexus convention in Las Vegas or somewhere and that Lexus made it seem like there wouldn't be any new features besides the Siri stuff. He seemed very certain about this.
I still don't think that I believe him though. I need proof!!!
He told me that it would still be about 2 weeks before he could go into the computer system for him to see all of the available options for the 2014 GS.
It would be really disappointing if the only update for a car that has been out for 18 months is Siri (especially since I'm an Android user )
from what my dealer has said, there's going to be more than just the Siri update... but he said he couldn't elaborate any further until the official press release

Appreciate you sharing all the info. Trying to stay patient and can't watch to join the GS club
All I care now is when the 2014 GS350 F Sport comes out. I'm in middle of no where to buy 2014 IS350 F Sport or this? I want to compare these two so I can throw out money. In fact, I love M3 but it only has 2 doors.

My wife has a 335 with the M Sport package. The car is alot of fun to drive but the seats aren't the most comfortable...I'm guessing the M3 is pretty much the same
Soon you won't be able to get a M3 WITHOUT four doors. The coupe is being rebranded as M4 in line with the new BMW convention that sedans are designated by odd numbers, coupes by even numbers. Dumb move if you ask me.

If you want to compare them now drive a 2013 GS. The ride and drive will be the same.
