Navigation System
While I was in Dallas, we wanted to find a place to eat and was told about an Applebee's in the area. I tried to get it to come up on the list of POI's but no luck. 4 cars were held up waiting for me to find it.. We ended up using Google on my girlfriend's cell phone.. I was not happy that the POI list would not see outside of a 2 mile range.. I know I need to practice

I hope some car manufacturer provides full integration to google maps some day. Google now almost always has just what I need when I need it. (maps/Nav based on my appointments or recent search parameters etc) - just have that show up on nav screen when I get into the car! Woohoo!!!
Worst case scenario, an option would be to have miracast screen mirroring to a 10" tablet on the car. If it were not for the climate control options and backup camera, that might have been a mod worth looking into. Navigation, music, web search, pandora - everything that I can think of at this time. Even real time driving statistics using a bluetooth OBD connector.
That would have been awesome!
Two questions about the Navigation system please...
- how do I turn off the route once I have it routing?
- how do I get my nav screen to show at the top of the screen the street name of my next turn?
Thanks!

It will usually tell you the distance for your next turn and then about 1 - 2 miles before it will show the street where you should turn. You could also just go into the option that says turn list I believe and it should show you all the upcoming turns in the route.
To turn off the route once it's routing you, go into the menu and then destination, and click on delete destination. This will stop the routing for that specific address or location.

Also. When you have a destination programmed, and you are on the map, click on "route" on the bottom of the screen, and you can go to "delete destination" from there instead of going back through the menu.
