Edmunds Long Term Road Test: Disappointing?
Have any of you been following Edmunds' Long Term 4GS Road Test over the last 20,000 miles?
It's been the opposite of insightful. Full of banal observations, and very little about how the car actually drives.
I used to be a fan of Edmunds, especially when they had the Inside Line web site for enthusiasts. Now, they have truly lost me.

To be fair, I liked this post "Five Reasons to get the F Sport Package"

I think it varies with the particular editor who's driving the GS for that week.
There have been some very insightful pieces like the under-the-rack analysis of the GS' suspension as well as the time they demonstrated how rear wheel steering dramatically reduces the turning circle of the GS.

I think that these guys that get to test drive cars like this get a very Ho-Hum attitude after a time. His earlier writes were not bad. He has no "emotional" involvement to the car liek we do that sekk out and purchase the car.
IMO, only

True, their fleet also has an SLS.
And they are gaga over the Tesla, despite numerous bugs and issues.

every body got there opinion on it, but those guys just test drive it and write a report on it, but I think owning it is a different story, I love my GS, I have no issues with it, and some of u can agree on it, and just like he said if he did not know the difference between the GS and LS, then he should not be writing BS, if you are car guy, just by looking in front u should figure out what kind of car it is.just like I said every body got there opinion.
I followed their posts and they did post accolades for the car, which prompted me to buy the car in late 2012. These guys are journalist in that field, they drive a lot of cars and many are really nice, I guess they get jaded.

Sadly it seems Edmunds really lost a lot of people with the changes as of late.
