The current GS350 F-sport displays a level of confidence within its segment...................but yeah, the thing is, the highest engine is only the 2GR-FSE unit.

In short, atm, Lexus does not offer a 4GS that has something that is greater than a V6 engine.

Hence:
I too would want to see a Lexus GS (4th generation model) with a V8 engine.........and this could come in the form of either of the following:
-GS460 F-Sport
-GS500 F-sport
OR
-FULL FLEDGED GS-F (with 500 HP minimum)

I too look at other vehicle in the same segment: Everyone from BMW, Audi, Infiniti, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar.......and even the likes of Dodge, Chrysler, Cadillac and so-on are offering V8 engines.

Lexus, please give the 4GS a V8 ENGINE!!!!

I'm not sure what's coming.........but if I were to guess, at least two things *might* come:

1) Heads-Up Display (in FULL COLOR)



2) Rear Cross Traffic Alert (in conjunction with the Blind Spot Monitoring System)

Interesting thoughts. I just with the HUD on these cars wasn't cancelled out by Polarized sunglasses. I love my Maui Jims and they are all polarized. So even at max brightness in the day time, it's hard to see the HUD.

This is pretty neat. I wish it was integrated a little deeper as to control car functions (or make the in car voice commands more robust anyways). It would be great if we could read off a whole address in one breath.

I'm going to guess no since it wasn't mentioned on this. Seems to peg the models that will have it as the 14 ES, RX, LS and GS only.

 

hope this becomes available to us 2013 owners. (I won't even mind a small fee like a $100 or less)

I would like to put my point of view in this as well
the GS can move but doesnt haul ***
my gs350 is slower than my IS350 (my12) and it feels slower
GS does handle much better though even better than my MY12 ISF
Gearbox on the 6 speed is not as quick as the ISF but better than the IS350's normal auto box
8 speed box will be nice but i dont think it'll be the same box as the ISF (least not at shifting speed wise)
