I have USAA, under $800 a year, with much more than adequate coverage. I have been with them for 34 years.

 

I've found it hit or miss. I'm in the real estate business, and as a part of a home purchase people need to purchase new insurance policies for the new home prior to settlement, people always have home and auto quoted a few places. I have found some situations where USAA is high, and some where its not. I suppose they are like any other insurance company, they are cheaper when they are trying to grow their business in a certain segment, and more expensive when they aren't.

 

Could be I have the low mileage driver 7500 miles per.
