I've done the same thing although the front bumper received a different treatment. It was all painted and no film. Will post pics if you're interested but it looks exactly like this.

Yeah anyway you look at it... I like the look of the front done like that...I just decided to paint it cause I wasnt sure with the sensors how it would be. But painting was what I decided. It was done in one day and he left a little space on the bottom which gave it that LS feel. I love it and got many compliments on it. Thanks all for the positive feedback.
