Sorry to bring back this thread but does anyone have this working?

Better question: cant one simply purchase the key card, scrap the internals and put the Fob internals in there? I assume the PCB would be thing enough to sit in the card?

Bumping this again.

From what I see online and inside my own key bob, there is no reason why I can't make my own smart key card....

 

I believe we have been told many times that it will not work with the GS.
