You paid over $500 for the key?

It's been awhile, but I think I paid around $280. I bought the smart key when I first bought the car.

Wish we could find somewhere to order it from & know for sure which one works with F-Sport models - I think I would order one.

Sorry for the late reply...been on vacation.

I bought the smart card from Westminster Lexus in CA.

My service rep is Thomas Diaz. (he's the one that got it to work after a few failed attempts)
(888) 413-1939 Service Dept & Parts.

any updates on this?
I had a 2007 IS and used the credit card key - loved it. I am about to purchase a demo 2016 AWD F-Sport and would really like to get this coded to work on on the new car.
I guess this is not something dealer normally has in stock? Is the part number that may work 89904-53511?

Thanks

follow up
bought a new smart card 89904-53511 from a Lexus dealer. Two different dealers could not get it to link with my car - a 2016 GS F Sport - build date 6-2016. This is still a virgin card as it did not pair with my card. Please PM me if you have any interest in it.

Thanks

Could you provide the FCC ID # on the back of the Smart Card Key and one of your fobs (ie, the full remote with the buttons?)?

I suspect your Fob FCC ID will be HYQ14FBA, but the credit card key (89904-30770) is a mystery. It should be HYQ14CBA, but it might also be HYQ14CBB. As stated in an above post the fob is a dual band 312.1mHz / 314.35mHz; and HYQ14CBB (89904-53511) seems to be compatible across this spectrum (source: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/#/topics/1114266)

I have sourced both of these parts, but want to confirm with the only person who seems to have this working on a GS before pulling the trigger.
