I am having lexus GS 350 2012 full option with navigation system but i cant find the setting to display the navigation direction in HUD please guide me how to activate it

 

With route guidance on, turning arrows will show up on the HUD when you are less than 1 mile from the turn.

 

Even when the route is specified i can hear the voice guidance and see it in the navigation screen but i cant see it in the HUD

 

Dumb question: Did you order the car with the $900 HUD option in addition to the navigation.

 

I have the HUD displaying speed, RPM, Gear Mode, Eco Mode and Audio

 

The nav guidance arrow can be turned on/off - see pic below. To adjust it, put the vehicle in park and then press and hold down the "DISP" button on the dash (behind the steering wheel, on the left side). Check page 95 and 96 of your manual for more details.

 

In my HUD only Audio DISP is coming and Navi DISP is not there ?!!

 

Hey LuxoRocket do I know you?!? You didn't go by the name LittleRocket on SpyderChat did you? Is this David? I'm the guy with the Supercharged MR2 Spyder. Or shall I say had the Supercharged Spyder.

 

The arrows have always appeared on my HUD when route guidance is on, so I haven't had the need to test this on my car. I'll check tonight and let you know.

Hmm I thought I nailed that one for sure. Similar screen name and he lives in Texas too. Yes the MR2 was fun for sure.

 

Isn't there a button for the HUD, other than just the up and down arrows, that allows you to display different information? I think that may be it. Not a button in the menu, but a button on the left side of the steering wheel by the HUD settings?

 

There is a button called DISP but its not displaying the Navi DISP

 

I assume you live in the UAE ..
I have the same issue, I guess gulf spec vehicles doesn't have this option on (Navi on HUD) .. an upgrade might enable this function though !

 

Do you know that its strange because this option is noted in the owners manual but in actual its not there even that my car is full option
