If you are having a fit issue, you did it wrong. It should fit back perfectly. Make sure the light housing fits in the socket before putting the back cover on.

I am driving a 2014 ES and the instruction manual is telling me to do it a different way. Let me just type out what was written on the manual.

Apply protective tape to the lower part of the mirror cover.
Insert 2 flatheat screwdrivers wrapped in a protective tape. Pry the mirror out toward you, disconnecting the tabs 2 at a time.
Work carefully, ensuring that you do not drop the mirror.
The instruction comes with a small diagram.

I have not personally tried to remove the mirror so I can't comment if this method or the finger method is better.

FOR: 2016 Lexus gs350

I was able to remove the side mirror to gain access to the puddle light and looking at the bulb, i dont see an exact # of the bulb. Definitely dont see #194. I see 37R/204/12v/W5W/E6 but nothing that would say 194. Is this bulb similar to the bulbs on the 2015 or lesser models? Here are a few pics, perhaps you all would be able to identify this bulb.

Thanks

That is the exact bulb my '13 had. I did my puddle lights and door lights today...all replaced with 194 leds. Took about 15 minutes to replace them all..I didn't have mirror fitment issues like most on here seem to have. Lucky me!!

May I ask, where did you get your bulbs from? vleds show 194 and wondering if theyre the same as 192. Also, what style did you chose? 360/flank/forward?

PS. Were you referring to the door lights that lights up when you open the door? the 2016 already has led on them.

Thanks for getting back to me.

LOL...my bad. I wrote 192 on accident. The bulbs are 194's. I ordered them from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JIEX722/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The door lights are the lights that come on near the bottom of the door when you open it. They are very easy to replace..the stock ones are very dim compared to the LED's.

I heard about these JDM bulbs but after reading the reviews of people saying they burn out real quick and loose pin connections, it makes me skeptical on getting them. Maybe that's why they come in a 10 pack or something. Did you have any loose pins or burnt ones when you put yours on? I may still give them a try but not sure yet. Tough decisions.

They might make cheaper versions(if I bought a 10 pack for $11.99, I wouldn't expect the best), but these are on par with any other LED bulb I've bought before. The contacts were perfect, and all 6 bulbs worked as advertised. If anything changes I'll definitely update the thread, but I doubt that I'll have any issues.

Sweet! I think you assisted me in my decision making. Gonna go with the JDM 6000k bulbs.
BTW, got any pics of your puddle lights in action?

Just installed mine finally. I got the 6k bulbs so there is a nice bluish tint to them. Also not sure if it's the white color of the car that brings it out more but you can see that the bulb is a 360 bulb (shines all around) vs a flank bulb (shines one way) if you're a bulb officianado cause the light shines and gaps off as it displays

It was pretty simple wasn't it? I was scared away by some of the stories on here at first, but figured what the hell! Glad I went for it

for those with the folding mirrors, are your mirrors synched? my left one folds faster than my right one by about a second. i changed my lights to LEDs but dont know if it was always like this, or if it was a result of taking apart the housing and putting it back together.
