Very nice..congrats. I plan on kind of same process as you. I had es330-2004, then current es350-2010 . i just purch RXx350-2013 for the wife , so I plan on getting 2014 or 15 yr model GS350 if all goes well. I test drove during Rx purchase and was quite impressed with drive vs the 2010 I last drove. Are those wheels/tires standard with Prem or Luxury pkg. Enjoy and good luck !

Those are the luxury package wheels. At first I really didn't like them, in fact I tried to get the dealer to swap them with the premium package wheels (which are the split 5 spoke gunmetal wheels) but they wouldnt. Now I'm kind of glad I didnt, they're growing on me.

Cannot say enough good things about this car, absolutely love it. The GS has always underwhelmed me before when compared to the ES for the price difference, but this car is a real winner. Especially at $70 a month more! Still can't get over that.

The expresso wood is beautiful! I've always been into metal trim but that wood is damn attractive.

Those are some good pictures reflecting the flaxen. I have the same combination. Try to take pictures when there is not much sun light. I prefer taking pictures when the sun is down. Play with your white balance. I don't know if your camera allows you to change WB but this is what that makes the pictures look real. Or you could take it in RAW mode, then use software to manipulate the images with different WBs. To make your life simple, I think there is a picture of this combination on lexus.com.

BTW, what are other options you have on yours besides luxury, BSM, and navi? Did you get HUD or ML?

SW10ES,

Your car looks amazing and the color combo is nice.

I see that you bought your car from Lexus of Rockville. Nice dealership and the employees are nice there,. I actually don't live to far from there.. I guess one day we can meet up there at the dealership.

I'm sure it does, I bought my wife a real nice SLR for Christmas last year. I'm sure she knows how to do it LOL

I've got the BSM and nav, remote start, no HUD or ML or radar cruise, etc. The base audio is great, I'm sure the ML must be incredible.

Yeah they were great! I really wanted to do the deal with them because they suggested I wait 3 months ago when I went in and looked at a new ES. I did, and I got a much more expensive car for less per month...

I used their service center for years but this is the first time I've bought a car there. I've got a good independent guy around the corner now, but I suppose Lexus is going to foot the service bill until 15k miles now...

What did they charge you for the remote start? Is it Lexus or after market? It's something I would consider because it does get hot around here. Did your dealer not give you 25K service maintenance for free? The only service I'll have to pay is the 30K service. Seems like we have similar package except the remote start. I wonder why your MSRP is more than 2K more than mine. I thought you had some other stuff. I guess dealers mark up differently.

Its the OEM factory remote start, it was $499.00 and on the original window sticker. I told them I didn't really care about that and they took the $500 off the price during the negotiations. We have it on the Jeep and use it for novelty's sake but never seem to use it when it would actually be beneficial.

I have the 5k and 10k services free.

Is yours AWD? I bet thats the difference seeing you're in TX. I would have preferred RWD, but they don't stock them in this region.

Wound up with the luxury package, silver with flaxen interior. Very sharp.

Love the car so far, the solidity and quality vs the ES is remarkable, reminds me a lot of the LS in normal mode, but in Sport + it gets mean! Have a lot of reading to do!

Pics will follow, I promise!
Congrats....beautiful car / color combination!
I was curious to see how you feel the car handles in turns vs. the F-Sport? Did you drive both and just preferred the Lux over F-Sport? I'm just about to decide on getting the Lux, but i'm curious to see how well you like yours so far. How does it corner and all?
Good Luck!!
