I was pulling through the MacDonald's drive-thru (had a craving for a Big Mac) and the young guy at the window was studying my GS. He said "they said they were going to make it look like a jet and they did. That car is beautiful." Not sure about the jet comments, but he was referring to the front, and he was sure gushing over the car.

I guess I've gotten used to it and thinks it's conversatively attractive, but It still gets lots of attention. I see it every day, but it's still a rarity on the roads.

 

you still eat those things D. i call them artery cloggers. i can't lie i have cravings for a BK Whopper every now and then. anyway i'm still getting the "damn that car is hot". chics love the car.

 

I treat myself to a Big Mac once every 6 weeks or so and then exercise like crazy to counteract the effect. What's strange is that the girl at the second window said "I'm not used to seeing you here during the day", which made me wonder if my Ambien is making me sleep-drive to MacDonald's at night without remembering anything. I will admit that I got a craving one night at midnight months ago and went for a Big Mac. Hopefully she just remembers me from that one time! If you see an LP GS F Sport at MacDonalds in Dallas late at night don't drive close!

i always get excited when I see them on the street and attempt to give the owners a thumbs up. So far most have been unresponsive and too cool.

 

Agreed. Some are definitely too cool. An F sport coming from behind me today. We then stopped at the red light side by side. I was kind of excited... I was going to give a friendly look but he was acting too cool. He then got in front of me. While in front of me, I noticed he was hovering something that looks like an audio remote control in his hand all the time as if he had wanted me to see it.

On the other hand, the car definitely gets some attention like it did when I dropped my wife off last night. But the wife still thinks it looks too much like a camry. She's thrilled by the interior and the ride though. She still has her heart for the 5.

What do you call smoking? I sometimes can't help stopping eating what I want.

 

I love that warm fuzzy feeling you get from a good compliment or thumbs up from random people.... or maybe that's the Big Mac too...

 

I had same situation yesterday, I was washing my car at a self wash, becuase I like the hot high pressure water, this guy pulls next to me with an Ls, and he goes is this the 2013 , damm this is nice, and he goes wht r those wheels Vossens , those r nice. I like that , even tho he drives the dady of the GS.
