so i'm good.

Syd, maybe you can help me with #2, because I took my car (which has ML) to the dealership about that same issue and they gave the same old crap about the bass frequencies, and that it is normal blah blah blah. What did they do to fix yours?

& forgot to mention the engine is much noiser than previous models of Lexus. Ticking sound can be heard from under the car if u squat down & hear front the front wheel area. If pop bonnet, the ticking sound is even louder! It's like a tick or tuck sound! Other than that it's a very find car to drive! But mine is quite under power as mine is the G250 F Sport. Same body as the 350 but with a 2.5L V6 engine...0-100 8.6 seconds... Yawn....
I'm not going to lie, that ticking sound is so annoooooying! It sounds terrible, like it is an old motor that needs to have its valves adjusted.

What are these "HILL" thingy's you speak of? We don't have those here in South Florida, unless you live next to a garbage dump.
I live in Vermont and we have the Mountains, not "hills". In order to engage the HSA you need to actually depress the brake pedal all the way to the floor, you will hear an audible beep that signifies that it's engaged. I've actually had to use it...works great!

they installed an anti-rattle thingamajig. don't let them hand you any BS. tell them to get it done. if you installed an 835 watt system in a car then you should make sure rattles do not happen, that's the way i see it.

I also do not like the ticking which I heard is the fuel injectors.

Another issue for me is the radio controls. It really seems dangerous to have to look at the Nav screen while using the joystick to change stations especially if you want to go to another station on a different set or change from AM to FM, XM, etc.

And if you use the controls on the wheel, pressing up or down does not go to the next station from where you are currently at, but is seems like the next station from your last selection on the Nav screen.

I also posted in another area that the voice commands leave a lot to be desired. We live in the Chicago area and close to Woodfield, one of the larges malls in America. Using the voice command 1 block from Woodfield and asking to find nearby shopping returns "No shopping found"

These are still not malfunctions with the car as some 5 Series and A6 drivers are seeing. They are things that Lexus could have done better and hopefully will as future models are introduced. I also have some quibbles about how the radio controls and voice commands were designed, but they aren't issues, just annoyances.

Agree fully with the radio design issues. In my GX460, the steering wheel buttons worked as the 'should'. If the driver changes the mode, that's where the radio / iPod changes should start with the steering wheel presets too. It's extremely annoying to cycle through 36 presets in some cases to get back to where you were. Looking at the screen and trying to position the mouse over the radio in order to navigate to the presets is very dangerous, IMHO, while driving. That's what the steering wheel buttons are there for frankly.

This update to the audio system was NOT well thought out. I miss my old system
